English: Statues of Fūjin and Raijin. Anonymous sculptor. Painted wood, Fūjin : H. 112 cm. Raijin : 100 cm. Mid-13th century. Sanjūsangen-dō temple. Kyoto (National Treasure). The gods of wind (Fujin) and thunder (Raijin) loom atop a summit of clouds. The wooden statues are arranged at either end of the hall's long central platform. Fujin carries the winds in a bag across his shoulders. Raijin is surrounded by a circle of drums which he is beating with pestles held in either hand. Français : Statues de Fūjin et Raijin. Sculpteur anonyme. Bois peint, Fūjin: H.112 cm. Raijin: 100 cm. Milieu du XIIIe siècle. Temple de Sanjūsangen-dō. Kyoto (trésor national).
