Monument of Wongaksa at Tapgol Park is a monument built in 1471 to comemorate the founding of Wongaksa (temple) in 1465. Tapgol Park is the site of the former Wongaksa.
The turtle shaped base is constructed from granite and the body is cut from marble.
On the top of the monument are found two elaborately carved dragons that are intertwined, rising up holding a Buddhist gem.
