A West German Luftwaffe North American F-86K Sabre from Jagdgeschwader 74 (74th Fighter Wing) on the runway, probably at its home base at Neuburg an der Donau, Bavaria, Germany, in June 1965.
This F-86K was assembled by Fiat (Italy) from NAA-built components. It had the construction number 242-1, USAF serial 56-4116, and received the German serials JE+237, JD+237, and JD+337. Later, it was transferred to Venezuela (serial FAV 0050) and was written off in 1990.
