Built 1963
Deployed to Ascension Island in May 1982 and allocated as primary aircraft for Black Buck 1 and Black Buck 4 but replaced by XM607 on ‘1’ due to a technical fault and ‘4’ was cancelled when one of the Victors was unable to refuel. She also flew as back-up aircraft on the two Shrike armed missions ‘Black Buck 5’ and ‘Black Buck 6’.
Retired in December 1982, she was flown to Cosford on 20th January 1983 and is currently on display as part of the National Cold War Exhibition.
